upgrading forum software in May

Well, it turns out that getting all the features we want in this forum is a bit of a PITA on free software, so we are upgrading to vBulletin in May. The forum might be shut down for a day just to make sure the transition goes smoothly and all post and database info is moves properly. Sorry for any inconvenience this might cause.

UPDATE: We have tried a practice run on importing this forum to the new softare. All looks to be good. A few small kinks but nothing that will keep us from running.

Is there going to be a chat area, or have I just not found it yet?

Still looking into Chat options, the Flashchat is a resource hog so we might switch to plain old IRC chat. There is nothing on the board yet, so NO, you are not blind. :-)
