Divemaster benefits and perks

So, let me put this out there. What are some of the benefits and/or perks that DMs should get or are already getting.

Free charter, free gasses, pay, gear, flowers........?????

If those types of perks such as discounted gear and free charters existed I would definately get my DM. Right now as it stands though I just don't see the point here in Ontario.

That is the whole point of this thread. Some people want to DM for the "fun" and others want to do it for "fun and work" and work means compensation generally. We have been looking at gear discounts/shop credit, charter fees, straight pay, air/nitrox etc. Just need to sort it all out.
