I'm finding that cave diving sidemount can lead to a really sore head. Do you guys always wear a helmet when in a cave? Or at least a hood? Or did you just learn to not bang your head on things?

A bit of both.

Where are you off cave diving that you are finding this? :)

Yes, in Florida. Jim, you should see Telford, you can tell it hasn't gotten much traffic lately because there is so much loose silt collected on the walls floor and ceiling. And those side tunnels are hard on my head :D

Tisk Tisk, sneak diving Telford.

I asked around and the guys at Reneker's said going by the river was perfectly legitimate and that the Sheriff doesn't have an issue with cave divers. :p So you can dive there with a clear conscience. Just watch out for alligators :-o
