Thought some of you might like to see these. A couple of screen caps from Luraville Sink that show sidemount w/ 2 stages. Note how the sidemounts are parallel to my body, and sucked in tight all the way from hip to armpit. (yes, that a linux in the background)

Nice... when did you start carrying your stages over the sidemount tanks rather than under?

After I tried stageing in a sidemount cave.

I'll have to show you the vid some time. The whole thing is nice untill the complete siltout. :)

Now I don't dive sidemount, so feel free to correct me, but.....wouldn't diving sidemount with stages hanging below the SM tanks be just about as "tall" as diving backmount?

Yeah, but that is mostly try for carrying them on top too. If you get into some real sidemount tight stuff, you have to take them off and push/tow them though. If it's that tight all the way the stages stay in the truck. :)

Usually stages are used to get though bigger cave and get to the small stuff with loads of gas.
