Just wondering if anyone is interested in going to the Rothesay July 21 for a couple of dives? Time to try and get a few outings organized.

I'm going to be going with Joel Fortune (his first post-cert dives) probalby Sunday. Anyone know how early you have to get there on a Sunday to avoid the mob?

Terry,
Hit and miss, but before noon (10:00 AM even better) is always a good suggestion.
Cathy,
Judy and I might be able to make it. I'll have to touch base with her, but she's usually always up for a dive.:D

So if I aimed for 9 am Sunday it wouldn't be too crazy there?

Depends. I was there with a buddy a couple of months ago, we got there around 9:30, no-one was there. My buddy went down to the water to drop off his gear and by the time he got back (less than 5 minutes later), there were 6 more cars full of divers parked there.

That would be great. We could arrange to meet by 10am, and possibly plan for 2 dives. Let me know what Judy says.
Terry, any chance you and Joel might be able to change to Saturday and join us?

Judy and I are up for 10:00 AM. I need to test out my new WAL for my camera, and the Rothesey is a nice easy dive to do that. As to a two tanker, I'll have to confim that Judy can spend the better of the day diving. Our youngest is getting married in two weeks and Judy's got some stuff she has to get accomplished this weekend. But we'll definately be there for dive one.
You can't miss us. Look for the green Chevy Blazer wth the blue tarp off strung of the back.
EDIT
Talked to the boss. Looks like we can do a two tank day.

If anyone else is interested, looking at maybe doing the second dive on the Connie, afterwards.

I could be talked into a Conny dive in the afternoon. but it would have to be later on, I am in the air until around 2:30pm
is it 3mm water temperature yet?

And viz - crap. Lots of fish, though - two huge carp and big school of little perch.

Dive one wasn't too bad, but by dive two, the students from that Quebec course had really silted the place up. I think I'll be lucky if I can clean up a few of the pics I took; just way to much particular matter in the water.
we'll see.....
