Tech Instructor Recommendation

Hi

My name is Neil and I am new to the forum. Could anyone recommend a tech diving instructor for an Advanced Nitrox / Deco (or equivalent) course. I live in the Ottawa area and would like to pursue training in the general area, i.e. Ottawa or Brockville / Rockport area.

I have been diving for a year and a half and have done about 250 dives, mostly local, some florida cave dives, and I am trained up to the Cave Apprentice level.

Thank you in advance for any recommendations. I could just pick a place at random but I don't want to learn a bunch of stuff that's just going to get me killed.

Of your choices around here I see three good options:

- Dan, but you have to jump though all the GUE hoops
- Steve, but you have to leave a message every day for a year to get a return call
- Marc+Bill, but they aren't quite ready to roll yet

Looks like they are almost ready to go. NAUI has a great course, and both of these guys know there stuff.

I can barely afford a $750 used Tekna. At you're rates I could buy a 3-4 second clip.

Another tech instructor in the Ottawa area is Norm Hughes.
